Chapter Fourteen

Dominic

Their first weeks together had flown by in a whirlwind of surprising ease. Jamie was settling into the routine Dominic had created for him, and while he still had plenty of sass, things were going incredibly well. He bound him to the bed each night, and Jamie treated him to his oral skills each morning — and his boy’s skills in that department were unparalleled. They worked out together each day in the building’s gym, although now Dom watched Jamie for more than just the view, he made sure he never pushed himself too hard, but Jamie’s self-destructive drive seemed to be fading with every passing day.

Unlike his past attempts at relationships, the more time they spent together, the more time Dom wanted with Jamie. He didn’t think he could ever tire of him.

Lying in bed in the early hours of the morning, Dominic knew he would need to unbind his boy and start getting ready for work. It was his first day back after being off for the last four weeks, and for the first time in his career he found he didn’t want to return to work this morning. He’d always loved his job, but today all he wanted to do was spend the day with his boy taking him in every way possible.

And why wouldn’t he?

Their time together had been almost effortless. Every day he’d seen more and more of the sassy submissive, which brought a smile to Dom’s face thinking about all the delicious punishments his attitude had earned. Jamie hadn’t been about to handle any sort of impact play yet, which was something Dom intended to talk with Michael about. Dominic would be fine without it in their lives, but he knew it was one more hurdle for Jamie to cross on his way to being fully himself again.

“You’re thinking awfully hard over there, Sir.” Jamie’s sleepy voice pulled him from his musings.

“Just trying to make myself get out of this nice warm bed.”

Jamie put a hand on Dom’s stomach. “You could call out sick and just stay with me.” His hand drifted lower before Dominic grabbed him by the wrist.

“Such a naughty boy. You know the rules. I’m going to untie you before going into the bathroom to start my day and I expect to find you on your knees just like every other day for the last month.” Turning away from Jamie was almost painful, but it needed to be done.

His boy needed this too.

Dom finished his morning routine and came out of the bathroom with the towel draped low on his waist. Just thinking about Jamie waiting for him had his cock already hard as granite. Stepping around the bed, the sight before him was perfect. There was his boy, naked as he always was in their home, on his knees. Dom couldn’t quite remember when he’d begun to think of it as their home, but the thought warmed him. He didn’t want to think about the possibility of Jamie returning to his own apartment.
